MY JOURNEY

I completed my Bachelors in Pune, India, and my Master's from Singapore. During my undergrad years, I was a member of the Girl's Cricket Team. I also volunteered for Prayas, a Social Service Organization, which aimed to increase computer literacy among less fortunate children living in Indian villages. I did a writing gig at Yaabot (online science & tech magazine), and also worked as a volunteer and IT director for the NTU Animal Lover's Club. Today, I am an engineer by profession, writer by choice, and an aspiring game developer at heart.

Although I was always passionate about playing games, it was during my Master's that I discovered my interest in designing them. I love writing and I love to create! That's why, when I got the opportunity to write a book, I took it without any hesitation!

After months of hard work, I'm the author of 2 books on game development. The books are titled - “Beginning Game Development with Godot”, a beginner’s guide to creating and publishing a 2D Platform game from scratch, and "Exploring Game Mechanics", which explores tools and techniques used in successful games to make them engaging and fun.

When I'm not working at my 9 to 5 job, I can be found creating pixel art or being immersed in one of my favorite games. I also enjoy trying out new restaurants, sketching portraits, writing poetry, and going for runs while listening to a good music playlist.
